Possesses the necessary qualifications in the areas of professional training, subject matter knowledge, and general culture, in accordance with the definition of the profession set forth in the Basic Law on National Education No. 1739; who are aware of the values of the society in which they live, keep abreast of global developments, are mindful of their professional responsibilities, and continuously improve themselves; who contribute not only to their students’ development but also to societal progress; and who are readers, thinkers, and questioners, and are aware of the country’s issues and needs—to train physical education and sports teachers.

As the Department of Physical Education and Sports, our vision is to be a department that trains physical education and sports teachers who can generate knowledge of universal significance, possess an intellectual mindset, and contribute to the development of sports in the country and to societal progress.
